Build Schools in Rural Cambodia

100% of donations made through BBS go to those in need.

Join us in supporting the Cambodia China Youth Development Foundation (CCYDF) as they work to bring education to rural Cambodia. Although the country has made leaps and bounds to recover from the horrific genocides of the 1970s, education is still out of reach for a significant part of Cambodians living outside major cities, yet remains critical to the nation’s recovery. Since it’s inception in 2011, CCYDF has worked to support the education of rural Cambodians, building schools in 13 different villages to date.

With a model founded on partnership, schools are built in cooperation with villagers, volunteers and the Cambodian Department of Education. Many of the foundation’s volunteers are Chinese students who come from neighbouring China to learn more about Cambodia and how they as individuals can make change in the world. These same students are also the key fundraisers working hard to raise funds needed to cover costs of construction and get schools off the ground. After their hard work has resulted in the physical building of a school, CCYDF’s partnership with local government then ensures the Ministry of Education supplies teachers and other needed resources to make the facilities operational and ready to change the lives of local village children.

CCYDF is currently seeking additional school groups and volunteers interested to build schools, as well as individual and corporate donors able to help cover new build costs. We invite you donate below now, or contact us if you or your organisation are interested in working in Cambodia on a build project.

CCYDF has the experience to ensure any corporate project is a smooth process plus the contacts, and government support, to ensure it is sustainable long term.  We can work with you to create a customised experience that meets specific all corporate objectives.
