Fora: Network for Change, formerly known as G(irls) 20, has announced the Delegates for the 2022 Global Summit.  For the first time in two years, the Summit will be an in-person event this November and hosted in the Canadian city of Toronto*.

In keeping with their new direction, the Global Summit received applicants from all countries (previous G20 restrictions are no longer in place) and applicants applied under their UN Regional Group, as indicated below:

  • African Group
  • Asia and the Pacific Group
  • Eastern European Group
  • Latin American and Caribbean States Group
  • Western European and Other Group
  • Indigenous Peoples Group

Through the Global Summit, thirty (30) Delegates from around the world will meet to build their advocacy skills, grow their confidence as advocates, and build networks in order to advance gender equality and women’s leadership in their home countries.

Young leader’s voices are vitally needed in spaces where decisions are being made. Through this training, Delegates will be prepared to advocate in local, national and international decision-making spaces.

Here, they will receive training from world-renowned facilitators to take their leadership to the next level. They will have the opportunity to connect with a global network of exceptional, like-minded peers. And they will be supported to apply their learnings and transformative leadership in spaces of power in their home communities..

*Barring any major COVID-19 related complications.
