Business for Better Society (BBS) is partnering with London-based designer Saskia Lenaerts and Hope 93 Gallery for a special charity fashion event in London that brings together design, art, and social impact.

Taking place 10 March from 18:30–21:00 at Hope 93 Gallery, the evening will present a selection of garments by Lenaerts created, highlighting the role fashion and creative practice can play in rebuilding lives affected by conflict.

The collaboration builds on several years of partnership between Business for Better Society and Saskia Lenaerts through BBS’s Threads of Transformation project. The initiative focuses on creative reintegration programs for former child soldiers and conflict-affected young people, using fashion, textile design, and collaborative making as tools for healing, skills development, and community rebuilding.

Through workshops in eastern Congo, participants explore design, craft, and storytelling while gaining practical experience in garment making. These programs not only create space for creative expression but also foster confidence, social connection, and new economic pathways.

The Hope 93 Gallery event offers London audiences an opportunity to engage directly with this work. Guests will be able to view and acquire special designs by Lenaerts, with proceeds directly funding future workshops and supporting the production of school uniforms for children in underserved rural areas.

Visitors will also have a final chance to experience the gallery’s current exhibition by Brian DeJesus, making the evening a celebration of art, fashion, and social impact.

The gallery will host extended hours and drinks for the occasion, inviting the public to connect with the designers and collaborators behind the initiative.
