A new year invites reflection and recommitment. At Business for Better Society (BBS), the start of the year is a moment to pause, listen, and renew our purpose, which is to drive lasting, meaningful change in communities worldwide through collaboration, innovation, and transparency.

We believe real transformation starts at the local level. That belief shapes everything we do. It’s why we partner with grassroots nonprofits that are rooted in their communities, guided by lived experience, and uniquely positioned to turn insight into impact. When solutions are co-created with the people closest to the challenges, change is not only more effective; it’s more enduring.

Many Paths to Sustainable Impact

At BBS, we recognise that sustainable impact takes many forms. Financial support matters but it’s only one piece of a much larger ecosystem of change. Mentorship, technical assistance, volunteering, training, internships, and access to essential resources can be just as catalytic. Sometimes the most powerful intervention is knowledge shared at the right moment, or a partnership that unlocks capacity and confidence.

Our approach remains unchanged and isn’t defined by sector or geography. We work with nonprofits across regions and disciplines, united by a shared dedication to purposeful, enduring change. What binds our partners together is not where they work or what issue they address but how they work… collaboratively, transparently, and with a long-term commitment to the communities they serve.

Continuing the Work That Breaks Cycles

As we look ahead, we’re energised by the work we’ll continue and the challenges we’re ready to take on.

We remain deeply committed to supporting women as they open and grow microbusinesses. Time and again, we’ve seen how women-led enterprises can be a powerful lever against generational poverty. When women have access to capital, mentorship, and markets, the ripple effects extend to families and entire communities. This year, we’ll keep investing in the tools and partnerships that help women transform entrepreneurship into economic resilience.

We’re also continuing our support for education projects that strengthen learning opportunities in communities around the world. Education is a cornerstone of opportunity, and we aim to work alongside local organisations to improve access, quality, and relevance so young people everywhere are equipped to thrive in a changing world.

Embracing New Challenges: Agriculture and Mother Nature

At the same time, we’re expanding our focus to meet emerging challenges particularly in agriculture and caring for Mother Nature. Food security, sustainable livelihoods, and environmental stewardship are deeply interconnected. Supporting agriculture includes working with communities to promote sustainable farming practices that protect natural resources, preserve ecosystems, and coexist with local wildlife. Caring for Mother Nature, our land, water, and wildlife, is fundamental for building a better society.

Building Meaningful Partnerships

This year, we’re again focused on strengthening the connections that make impact possible. We will continue to create meaningful partnerships between organisations, individuals, and purposeful nonprofits within our network of causes. By connecting those with ideas, expertise, and resources to those driving change on the ground, we can amplify impact, unlock innovation, and ensure solutions are sustainable and community-driven.

Together, Toward a Better Society

As we begin 2026 our purpose is clear and renewed. We will continue to listen closely, partner deeply, and act transparently. We will support changemakers in all their diversity, honouring the many ways impact is created.

With our partners, supporters, and communities we’re building something enduring. A better society isn’t a distant goal but a shared commitment, renewed each day, and strengthened by collective action.

Here’s to another year of purposeful progress.
