My name is Christopher, and I’m a 15-year-old student in Cleveland, Ohio, and a summer intern with BBS.
Over the summer, I’ll be exploring voices from communities whose stories are often overlooked around the world, including Africa, Afghanistan, and more. My goal? Make sure that their stories are heard, and recognize the important work BBS supports in addressing deeply rooted challenges across different countries.
What excites me the most is that my project is also about connection: reminding all of us that underreported issues affect real people. That change starts with listening, learning, and building communities.
This is our planet, and we’re all in this together. So, put a brake on the “breaking news!” cycle!
