With support from our Acts of Kindness GlobalGiving page, the Threads of Transformation program has completed its second intake in the Adjumani Settlements of northern Uganda. Building on the inaugural cohort in the DRC, the program brought together four women from different South Sudanese tribal backgrounds to learn practical sewing skills, express their creativity, and build connections across historic divides.
Delivered in partnership with SPEAK Uganda and led by London-based designer Ms. Saskia Lenaerts, Threads of Transformation delieverad real impact: reusable product, stronger livelihoods, increased confidence, and meaningful steps toward peace and environmental sustainability.
This report shows how collaboration, creativity, and generosity can weave lasting change in communities that need it most.
