Business for Better Society (BBS) is pleased to share that our recieipent status with GlobalGiving has been successfully renewed, following the completion and approval of its biennial due diligence review process.
GlobalGiving requires all organisations in its partner network to undergo a formal due diligence renewal every two yePreview Changes (opens in a new tab)ars. This process helps verify an organisation’s legitimacy, review its activities and ensure that it continues to meet the platform’s requirements for accountability and responsible management of funds.
For BBS, successfully completing this review means that we remain an approved GlobalGiving partner and can continue to raise funds through our project pages on the platform.
What does this mean for donors?
GlobalGiving’s due diligence process involves reviewing organisational documentation, financial information, programme activities and governance arrangements. It is designed to help ensure that organisations using the platform meet its standards and are operating transparently and responsibly.
But the oversight does not end there. GlobalGiving also requires partner organisations to submit regular project reports, providing updates on activities, progress and results. These reports are made available to donors through the project pages, helping supporters follow how projects are progressing and how their contributions are being put to work.
In other words, when you choose to support a BBS project through GlobalGiving, you are giving through a platform that has established due diligence and ongoing reporting requirements for its partner organisations.
